Okay, dramatics aside, here is some need-to-know info about me:
-junior at Ouachita Baptist University, located in Arkadelphia, Arkansas
*note: You pronounce Ouachita WAH-shuh-taw, not oh-wuh-CHEE-tuh
-Bachelor of Arts in English and Mass Communications in progress
-Born: November 14, 1993, in Lewisville, Texas
*note: that is the day you send me presents
-After some moving around and whatnot, I ended up in Paris, Texas
-Graduated from Paris High School in 2012 after going through Paris ISD for all my K-12 years
-I am a work-study videographer with the Rogers Department of Communications at Ouachita
-I am a member of the Tiger Marching Band, Tiger Blast Ensemble, and Symphonic Band
-I play the baritone in treble clef (think baby tuba)
-I am a brother of the band fraternity Kappa Kappa Psi
-I am the oldest brother to two sisters and a half-brother (who lives with my dad)
-One of my cousins and I were born exactly six months apart (duuuuuude)
-I am a huge nerd and I'm not the least bit sorry about it
-Favorite TV shows and movies include Star Wars, Doctor Who, Once Upon a Time, The Clone Wars, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Life of Brian, The Princess Bride, 300, Braveheart, The Lord of the Rings series, all of Marvel's movies within the Avengers franchise, the Batman trilogy, older Batman animated series, Batman Beyond, Luther, BBC's Sherlock, Tron, and Forward Unto Dawn.
-Favorite books include Incarceron, the Maximum Ride series, Code Orange, The Pelican Brief, To Kill a Mockingbird, the Harry Potter series, The Hunger Games series, the Divergent series, 1984, Animal Farm, Lord of the Flies, The Giver, Fahrenheit 451, Their Eyes Were Watching God, Beowulf, the A Tale Dark and Grimm series, any of the Grimm fairytales, and A Tale of Two Cities.
-hobbies include sword combat training, reading, writing, watching WFAA's news broadcasts, watching my favorite TV programs and movies; video games, reading/watching CNET, sleeping, eating pizza, playing with my French bulldog named Napoleon, and just being a happy person in general
-I have previously held an internship with local online news site eParisExtra.com as an intern reporter
